Julia Haried is a Hinsdale-born and Illinois raised future CPA, business consultant, artist, and innovator for girls. Haried co-founded MakerGirl while earning her her Bachelors of Science in Accountancy in 2015 and Masters of Accounting Science in 2016 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Course concentrations were in social entrepreneurship and real-estate. Haried works at Deloitte & Touche in their Chicago audit practice. In addition to her three years interning at Deloitte, she also interned at Condé Nast owned TeenVogue in production in NYC and Rent the Runway in the finance department in NYC. Haried is an avid lover of art, reading, real estate, traveling, volunteering, working out, and playing Catan with her family.
