Who can attend a makergirl session?

MakerGirl sessions are intended for girls ages seven to ten.

During each session, participants will learn about 3D design, 3D printing and its applications, women in STEM, and careers in STEM. Each participant will design and print their very own object.

Where do the sessions take place?

All MakerGirl sessions take place at our MakerGirl Academies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northwestern University, unless otherwise noted on the Eventbrite page. Please see below for our locations at UIUC and NU.

Can groups attend A MakerGirl session?

Yes! We’ve worked with groups such as Girl Scouts and summer camps in the past. Please email info@makergirl.us for more information on group sessions and pricing.

Yes! Students that qualify for free/reduced school lunch qualify for a MakerGirl scholarship. Please email info@makergirl.us to request a scholarship.
